This year we are once again holding a Fun Dog Show at the Annual Southminster Flower Show on Saturday 19th July 2025 (weather permitting, we will cancel if the weather is too hot).
Do you have a pampered pooch who loves to show off their outfit? Then our Best Dressed class is for you. Or perhaps a happy little rescue or an oldie who’s still going strong? There are classes for everyone and something to enjoy for spectators too.
Entries into the fun dog show can be made on the day from 1pm or in advance on Wednesday 16th July at
Christ Church, North Street, Southminster from 7.30pm to 9pm.
Our judge for the event will be Maria Fowkes, who we are delighted can join us this year, she has lots of experience with animals and runs the Dengie Search and Rescue for Dogs and Cats group locally.
The classes are as follows:
1. Best Veteran (over 7 years old)
2. Best Trick
3. Best Rescue (any dog from a rescue)
4. Best Dressed (bring your dog in their smartest outfit)
5. Waggiest Tail
6. Most Handsome Dog
7. Prettiest Bitch
8. Cutest Puppy (up to 12 months)
9. Junior Handler (Child up to 16 years)
10. Best in Show (all winners from previous rounds)
Entries for each class cost £2.00 (cash only) and you can enter as many classes as you like.
